Pilot Use Cases & Trainings
The PRESERVE platform will be demonstrated and validated in two complementary pilot sites with configurations tailored to end-user needs, showcasing its most relevant contributions, with all products contributing uniquely to the pilots and end-users participating in all evaluations.
PUC 1: Autopiloted Drone Swarm Terrorist Attack at a Major Sporting Event
Today a Marathon is taking place at an European capital, where more than 35,000 people are attending. After the first half an hour, a swarm of recreational drones flying at high speed and very low altitude enter the marathon corridor carrying explosive devices and toxic chemical agents. What can PRESERVE do in this situation?
PUC 2: Orchestrated Weapons Delivery during a Christmas Concert
A major concert is taking place at an open court in one of the largest shopping mall in the country, during the Christmas Holidays. Authorised drones are typically used to provide mdia coverage of the event. At the day of the concert, a security officer reports a swarm of flying drones delivering weapons, and a box, to the rooftop of the mall, bypassing all security controls. How can PRESERVE be used to prevent and counter this arms delivery?
The PRESERVE Training Programme
Building on the DRONEWISE project, the PRESERVE C-UAS training programme will be a modified and updated version, focusing on emerging hostile drone threats and including the online media as a source of attack preparation. Modern and harmonised operational procedures will be a key element of the programme.
